Dominique Jakob
Prof. Dr., LL.M.

Dominique Jakob (1971) obtained his Ph.D. and his postdoctoral “habilitation” from the University of Munich. In 2007 he joined the law faculty of the University of Zurich as a Professor of Private Law where he established the "Center for Foundation Law" in 2008 and an international conference, the “Zurich Foundation Law Day”, in 2010. He is the author of numerous publications in Switzerland and several other countries, a sought-after speaker at international conferences, board member of various institutions, and acts as counsel to governments, financial institutions, companies, foundations, associations, families, and private individuals. Since 2017, his international practice has been awarded with the membership in American Lawyer/Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite. 

Michelle Kalt 
Attorney at law, MLaw, LL.M.

Michelle Kalt (1989) studied law at the Universities of Zurich (BLaw 2012; MLaw 2014) and Hong Kong (LL.M. 2014). Between 2011 and 2013, she was a junior research assistant to Prof. Dr. Dominique Jakob at the University of Zurich. After graduation, she worked as a legal intern in London and The Hague, as a trainee lawyer in a leading international law firm in Zurich, and as a law clerk at the Administrative Court of the Canton of Zug. She passed the Zug bar exam in 2017 and has been working as a qualified lawyer for Dominique Jakob since 2018. Michelle Kalt's professional languages are German and English. She is also fluent in Spanish and French.
